Fairytales

In one of my early primary school readers there was a story called The Hungry Grass, which was about a fella who angered the fairies somehow - not hard to do in the old days - and as punishment they magicked the grass around his house so every time he set foot outside he instantly became ravenously hungry, and had to run back inside and eat. For some reason this story made an impression on me, although I'm not sure how it ended. I think he made some reparations and had the curse lifted in the end.

This Fairytail is about a girl who travels to the end of the world in order to rescue her Brothers which have been cursed and turned into ravens when she was only a kid. After meeting the children-eating sun and the cruel moon the friendly stars give her a key to open the door leading to her brothers, she lost it though, so she had to cut off one of her fingers to use it as a key  ...and finally Happy End!! :D ( bad quality foto following)

But It seems that baby fairies can be quite demanding. Blueberry asked me to do to a little loop video with shiny things or she would hide my toothbrush, my socks and my biscuits!! How such a minuscule thing could achieve that?!!Magic fairy dust I suppose..
