I'll kick this theme off with a story. In the Lorena Province of Afghanistan in 2001, or thereabouts, a toddler belonging to a nomadic tribe wandered off from his tent and was missing for three days. He was eventually found, safe and well, in the hills miles away, in the cave of a she-bear. The bear was curled protectively around the child and had apparently been nursing him. He was taken home to his relieved parents; no record seems to exist however for what happened to the bear. One likes to hope for the best.
