Piotr Jabłoński

I was inspired by Piotr Jabłoński. The man is the art equivalent of the Terminator. Tireless, merciless, unstoppable. He uses de-saturated colour palettes with splashes of intense colour, and limits his value range to create some really subtle paintings.

I started this on Sunday evening. I don't know what the hell it is to be honest hahaha

But I hope it seems Jabłoński-ish.

One hour ago I remembered that tomorrow is the deadline for this month's theme. Here's my very, very quick tribute to Mucha, the first artist that I have seen in my childhood. My mother painted on glass a copy of the painting that inspired this little drawing.

The visuals in his films are great but he's also a great drawer and does a lot of storyboard panels. I'm trying to capture the style of them here.

Rebecca and Steven Sugar

I've a lot of love for Rebecca Sugar, who built a wonderful show based on her brother, Steven! Said Steven is the lead background designer on the show, and his stuff is phenomenal! Super inspiring!
