I couldn't decide which picture was more embarrassing/creepy so I decided to go with a few!

First up are my favourites of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers from when I was about 4/5. Note the lack of ladies, I was a terror of a tomboy as a young wan. I still remember the White Ranger's sword my brother got for Christmas one year. I used to steal it off him and smack him around. Bless.

All pictures from this era right up until about 8 were drawn at an obvious angle because I used to draw with my head resting on the paper, and the eyepatch impaired my depth perception...

Next up are some very creepy renditions of the Spice Girls, which I think is from when I was about 9, judging that I chose to leave out the traitor, Ginger Spice, who had left at that point. I've since forgiven her.

Lastly is the influence of deviantart kicking in, a Final Fantasy fanart from when I was about 14/15. I tried very hard with this one, from what I remember, which makes the embarrassment all the worse!!

Festival Time.

Mam had this stashed away in the back of the wardrobe. Can't believe she still had this, I was only 4. Check awesome line work going on there....Hahaha!

Looks like Fimo was a popular choice back in the 80's. They were my dogs Meka and Angel...little rascals. I was about 10 then I think when I made these. They have been through the mill as you can see, Meka's ponytail has broken off and they are more yellow then white.

Tonight I Dine On Turtle Soup!

I did this picture when I was 28, it's probably the best drawing I've ever done.....

Ah no, I think I was about 8 or 9, give or take. Then my sister went and RUINED IT by putting her own drawings on the page. Somebody (possibly me) also went and corrected it but apparently it's right so that's good.

And an update which was fun to do. Notice in this update he's not giving the finger like the original, I'm aiming for PG-13 this time around.

3 different pics!

The first 2 pics are the oldest drawings I could find over the weekend. Obviously the first 1 is a father's day card I made my dad. I think it's from 86.

The second is from 88. It was Dublin's millennium in 1988 and I was mental for vikings. The cross-eyed thing is a bit mental when I look at it now, but back then me and the kid that sat beside me in school used to draw all our characters with it.

And the third pic is the first drawing I ever did in Boulder. As far as I remember I drew it during week 1 so I'd have something instead of a blue coloured wallpaper.

And on top of the artwork I thought everyone would find this story I wrote when I was 7 funny too. (More Ghostbusters!)

Starboys

Starboy 1.0
Starboy 2.0
For this month's theme I decided to do a new version of a plushie I made from 2007 when I was just starting. This is also the first plushie I've made in aaaaaaages.

2013..... Theme 10!

Happy New Year everyone!!!

So here we are first Theme for 2013. Same "bendy" rules apply as last year. Submit as many pieces as you like, any medium you like and just have a bit of fun!

The Theme for the month of January is
"Retrospective" (a look back if you like)

What we are aiming for here is for you to find some of your old art work from when you where little. Let's see how good you where back in the day, the further back the better. You will probably also want to try a new piece...so how about recreating the old into something new?
Or
Just taking the theme and run with it...

Good Luck rummaging around in the past. You have till the 4th of February roughly to post up your treasures.
