Farewell
I had fun working on Randy.
It tested my limits.. like this piece! I wasn't aiming for the 3Dish look at the beginning, but that's what I got. Also the background should have been a cool explosion, but at that point I was pretty worn-out..

McFist Syndicate
Submission to the Randy Cunningham theme this month.
Decided to do something in a Sin City style for this, with McFist, Marci and a robot ape obsessing over their ultimate goal. Not entirely satisfied with how this came out (as opposed to what was in my head) since I didn't give myself much time to go over every last detail like I usually would. But in terms of style and composition I guess there's only one Frank Miller.

Ninja Trash
None of these are my SUBMISSION i'm just posting old work for fun, but here's some of my ninja trash
from the last couple of years of work. I am trash and this is trash.
It's good to be trash.
Kidneystone and Crystalised Porkfat are my favourite gems.Funfact: Kidneystone isnt a jem. He just has severe kidneystones
*** I the administrator, have hijacked Claire's post to add a link to her wonderful portfolio of work. She is not getting away that easily. You can check out more of Claire's work here ***
Paul-Randy and Howard
Here's a sweet little piece of Best Bros' Randy and Howard from one of the Directors on Randy Cunningham, Paul O' Flanagan! More of Paul's work can be seen here

Move over, it's Ninja time!
This is a good time to thank all the people at Boulder for inspiring, sharing knowledge and giving a supportive pat on the back when you need it! :D
Here are a 3 old ones, definitely going to throw up something new when I get the chance :D

Thrilling
A huge shout out to Kyla Tomlinson for her amazingly brilliant Chaaaa-Moawn. She snuck in with this entry at the last minute and we are so glad she did...brillo!
Also a big well done to Nick Lennox and Anita Gaughan who came in as our runners up.
Thank you to everyone one again for posting and voting.
New theme will go up Monday.
CHAAA' MOWENNNN
So. This clip is not quite how I'd planned. I'd say about 65 percent how I'd planned. It's not like the quality would have been any better, but if you can imagine lots more zombies, some sexy camera moves, a soundtrack that would have included a kazoo, casio keyboarding and mouth trumpet, and a bit of dialogue at the end in the style of a jolly Yorkshire man going,
"Eeeee, that were good",
then you're almost there.
I should add though the comping king from comp (Ed) has added some magic into this that could possibly have saved the spammy mess that is this video.
Whatever way, I'm sure I'm championning the legacy that is Mickey J.
He would have wanted it this way.
Mickey got de mooooves

The Twilight Zone - The Lateness of The Hour
One of my favorite episodes! Its creepy as hell and very claustrophobic so tried to portray that here :)
In the Night Garden
This is an offshoot from my freaks submission of a few months back. I got a bit obsessed with drawing three-headed children and babies for a couple of days, so this is an adaptation of one of them. I think they look pretty happy, considering.

Bedtime Stories
This is Thom and not Nick. I need to get signed up properly to the ol' blog.
Well this was meant to be for the art auction, but I was so last minute with starting this, as in, I just finished it now.
But my main beef is that I really have no fondness for it. I aimed to do something that wasn't really my style, something that was a bit different for me, but it didn't turn out how I wanted.
I was still determined to finish it though, just to see where it was going. I'm still not overly joyous with it, i.e, it's driving me *i*s (wasn't sure if that slightly sweary word was truly suitable for up here. Although, it's difficult to really know what that exact word is unless you've heard me say it, the drawing has basically driven me mental.) so I've just gotten to the point where I need to stop and say, "The End".
And as it has monsters in it, instead of it completely going to waste I thought I'd pop it up here.
So, The End..
